Are you struggling to keep your balance at work while someone in your family might be dying?
What if you had a GPS system that helped you navigate your high-stakes responsibilities and find your best available choices?
Imagine how supported you could feel, with expert guidance to:
- Talk honestly about things that matter to you most
- Hear what matters most to the people who count on you
- Honor your own needs along with the ill person’s needs
- Navigate dysfunctional family dynamics
- Stay present in the face of pain, fear, and sadness
- Accept and embrace what appears to be irreversible
- See death as a normal event, not a tragedy or a failure
- Find value and meaning in the time you have left
- Be as prepared as possible when it's time to let go
- And integrate what you learn in the process
"To embrace the dying process with love, awareness, and intentionality, we need more support than we might think. Sharon knows how to give the exact support you need. She listens when she needs to listen; she guides when she needs to guide, and she’s very intuitive about that. I never felt at all judged in the slightest way. I felt expertly guided to find my highest potential response to a very challenging time in my life." ~ Ryan Eliason, Business Coach for Changemakers
I invite you to ask your top questions and receive my best guidance, input, and support.
Hi, my name is Sharon Burch.
In response to working with professional and family caregivers over the past 40 years, I developed a highly effective ‘CARING GPS' system that helps you navigate your high-stakes challenges at home and at work; ride the waves of anger and fear; face your fragility; be present with yourself and the people who are counting on you, and integrate what you are learning in the process.
The CARING GPS system can help you assess your situation and find the resources that best match what you want and need. GPS was developed from my 15 years’ experience working as a registered nurse in hospital, nursing home, home health, and hospice environments; my 20 years’ experience working with complementary, alternative, and shamanic approaches to health and healing, and my 25 years’ experience as a business owner and entrepreneur.
I value being practical and down-to-earth so things get done, while at the same time being mindful of honoring your complex feelings, relationships, and needs exactly as they are.
My work is a privilege and a joy, and I'll enjoy talking with you.
“If you have a high-stress profession and a family member with a life-threatening illness, I think it’s a must that you get emotional and practical support and don’t short change yourself. Get the best support you can find. Sharon was the best support that I could find, and she was awesome!
As a result, I feel proud of how I showed up for my father in the last several months of his life and proud of the way I showed up for my family and myself, and I couldn’t have done it without Sharon’s help. Having her support really helped me to make being there for my father a priority, and navigate the whole thing as gracefully as possible." ~ Ryan Eliason, Eugene, Oregon
“When I worked with you recently, my life was stuck and nothing I was doing was changing that. Physically I was doing OK, but I was out of balance energetically and just barely holding it together. I was deeply questioning if I could continue in my naturopathic practice or in my marriage. That has all changed. I see things differently now and I have different tools. Thank you, and blessings to you.” ~ Mark Akers, Denver, Colorado
